About me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with years of experience supporting individuals who have been impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression and addiction. I am a previous firefighter EMT that experienced the havoc that PTSD can cause. After healing through my own therapy, I realized I had a unique opportunity to help others walk through the journey of healing as a therapist. I am passionate about helping first responders and anyone who has experienced the impact of trauma. I have experience working in community mental health, intensive outpatient, residential, and private practice.

I use a collaborative and direct approach that combines empathy and practical strategies to help you achieve meaningful change. Together, we’ll identify the negative thoughts and self-destructive behaviors that may be holding you back, and we’ll work to disrupt those patterns so you can build the life you want. I draw from several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Post Induction Therapy (PIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and art based therapies to create a personalized treatment plan for your needs.
